I just received a call from this number with SSI showing up on the caller ID. It was supposedly a Rebecca from Republic Services, which is the company that services our trash and recycling, asking for "the person familiar with our trash service." I put her on hold and she just hung up.
Our caller ID showed the name Dolores Graham. No area code, making it seem the caller may be someone we know. We screen all calls, wait to hear a real voice, and pick up only if we recognize the caller.

According to Wikipedia: "SSI (Survey Sampling International) founded in 1977 by Tom Danbury and Beverly Weiman, the first commercial market research sampling company. It serves more than 3,000 clients, including political, social, and governmental organizations"
Our call was a political survey (multiple choice and yes or no answers) about the United States our opinions and concerns in the Middle East. The call lasted approx. 20 minutes. We never gave them our personal info like income, religious views, date of birth, political affiliation, and education level, which she ask at the end.
Caller claimed to be a survey from Petco. asked 5 innocuous questions about my recent visit to a specific store, rating my satisfaction with the service and assistance received.
