Received a sales call from this phone number. A winery trying to sell new wine. Supposedly bought from them in the past, not sure when. Caller wanted to know what I liked so they can immediately ship out some bottles, cases.
I get a call from this number and they are the Chauteu St Jean Winery in Sonoma. I am a member there. After reading these other posts I think this is probably a service that several of the wineries use to contact their customers. I answered once and they wanted to sell me some "special" wines. I told them I wasn't interested. They call rather infrequently but when I see the number I don't pick up, they do not leave a message.
Similar. On a visit out there I bought some wine from a boutique Sonoma winery that they apparently own - - it was great, but budgetary constraints deflect me from re-ordering since. Have had 2 cold calls from them that I know of, including one today. No problem when I said nothing today, thanks.
Total cold call. I've never bought their wine. I did not answer. They may be calling me because the last people who had my phone number kept giving it out to people for a year, and maybe they ordered wine before.
