My guess is that it is those solar people that call from all sorts of numbers. Even if I wanted solar, I would NEVER buy it from them because of their business practices.
After saying hello a couple of times he answered me. Said he wanted to help keep my PG&E bill down and said our last name and address. Then he asked if I had a PG&E bill and I said, "No". He then said, "I"ll wait until you get it." I told him, "No, because I am disabled and still in bed and it takes awhile to get up." He said, "We'll call back."
This morning I had a call from them. but by the time I answered, they were gone and left no message. I called back the number and they answered with an explanation of trying to keep my PG&E bills down and then said she'd connect me to a live person---I hung up.
Although it hasn't gotten that far,I believe they are after my account number, which I will NOT GIVE THEM. I believe they are scammers up to no good.
If they have your name and address, they should have all the other info and if they are associated with PG&E then they would not have to ask for your account number--next time I think I will tell them I have a bill and see what they want, but still I am NOT giving any additional information.
Stay safe and be aware--there are too many scammers in the world!!
