We received a voicemail on our answering machine that was directed towards my husband. Same old IRS fraud spiel with false threat of lawsuit and arrest that they've been using for a couple of years. We knew that this was obviously a scam. My husband wanted to call back and play along and give them fraudulent information that would help to get them caught, but I told him not to as it might be one of those numbers that you an automatic charge for calling (such as forwarded to an international number, etc).
Keep getting call from automated message saying will be filing claim. Shows up wireless caller. Call the number back and answers IRS. I'm already working with IRS. They don't call unless you know they will and caller ID will tell you they're IRS. Scam.
