800notes is not calling you; it is a place to leave feedback about scam callers. Your best bet is to get a call block device and block unwanted calls. My phone is set up to block up to 250 numbers and I add to it daily. Scammers do not care that you are a senior etc., in fact they probably like that. Many scam calls originate outside the United States and do not abide by "do not call" registry making a block device/system a more appropriate way to address scam callers.

I didn't answer. Caller ID says only, "Dixon, CA. This is a new one. I disabled voicemail so they can't leave messages. Probably a criminal identity thief
7/16/2015 called senior's land line in morning and woke me up. I don't want to be called by unsolicited callers trying to sell me what I don't want. I research thoroughly anything I want to buy and then buy it from the store near my home where I can see the product and research reviews of the product. I don't want any gadget being sold by unsolicited callers. I've been on the do-not-call list for years, but still all day long unsolicited calls come in trying to sell something or ask for donations. Please stop calling, please.
