Got hangup call this morning from this number; when I tried to call the number to see who it was it said it was a DISconnected number - so what are they doing, harassing people from that number? I've previously received calls from supposed medical device places - and hung up on them! Suspect health insurance is giving my personal number out as, when I called them, they said they'd discontinue giving my number out! Shocking and disgusting!!
4/23/15 11:45 PDT Was out for about an hour and this call and message came in. Second medical alert scam in two days, first called yesterday and earlier today. Last one was the scam saying that my system is ready to ship and they will also give me $1,000 in coupons for groceries. Give me a break already. Getting so frustrated with this garbage.
Recorded message saying my order is ready for pickup. That's funny because I didn't order anything. Hat a trained medical professional will be with me shortly. "Professional what"?
Got a call yesterday for the umpteenth time about a medical alert device my doctor ordered for me completely free. I already have one and usually hang up as it is a recording. That time I stayed on the line and it said to push 1 to confirm my address and 3 or some number to decline it so I did and it said nastily they would inform my doctor and not call me again. Well at 4:56 this morning my phone rang and I thought it was a family emergency or something and I yanked off my c-pap mask, breaking it only to pick up the phone and hear "Pound, pound, pound." Hung up as I have received that recording once before. I got up and looked up the phone number which was from Blue Island IL. And a "Certain Companies" name. Also read not to push any buttons as you get more calls. Just now got a call from almost the same zip code as this morning and looked it up and it had several comments from people saying they got calls from that number for life alerts. So much for not calling me again. Get 2-3 a day of these calls and I need a walker to get around and sick of racing to the phone to have it be one of them. DNC list doesn't help.
