I too have received text messages from this # wanting me to ship my camcorder that I had for sale on Kijiji.ca.  He offered me an extra $50 to ship the package to the states.  Definitely a scammer because the $ never shows up.

I have a diamond necklace on sale on Kijiji and have received 3 different numbers from the states asking about it. The first one sent me "Payment will be sent using Paypal. Kindly get back to me with your Paypal email address for me to send the payment and if you don't have Paypal account, don't hesitate to visit their website at www.paypal.com". That screams scam to me. I got a text this morning from this number - not interested in shipping this item anywhere or else it'd be up on eBay. Jeez.

That same # just showed up on my phone too. I knew right away his guy is fishing. I texted back saying nice try good luck fishing.

Just had the same thing... wanted me to send a couple of gold rings to the US.  Recieved 2 emails from [email protected] and Payment @Barclay bank.  Stating that the payment was approved and would be put into my paypal account when I sent them tracking #.
