This is ridiculous that people are trying to scam innocent people like this!!!!!
It's scary and frustrating. I got a call twice now and it's just a big fat scammmmmm!!!!
Called these boneheads back, just for a few chuckles. After 5 rings, some dude with a thick Indian/Pakistani accent claimed that he was with the "IRS investigation division". I couldn't help but laugh out loud, shake my head and hang up on him. After telling him that he was a pathetic excuse for a human being, of course.
Received a call from that number on my cell phone but when I called them from my work number, I was "hung up on" after several rings. When I called back on my cell phone (the phone from which I got their number) I received a message that the number I called was a not working number.
I just got a call 45 minutes ago, saying they wanted $3000 from me or I would be arrested and everything I own would be taken from me and I would go to jail for 5 years. Just so happens there was a cop sitting at a school near by and told me it's a fraud and been going on for awhile now.
