Asked for me by my first name. Did not know them. I said wrong number. They asked who I was. I hung up. I get lots of scam calls since I got hacked. Some people have my name, address, old bank Acct. No. And SSN.
Live person, left a message including my first name - "Hello? Hello? ___?". My answering machine message is a second or so of silence, so people tend to think I picked up. Obviously not my primary number.
I suspect that these people (I get about a dozen or so calls a week, and half of them leave messages) are calling because I signed up for a bunch of "Get free stuff for completing surveys, etc." scams a couple months ago. Wasn't worth it - they just ask you to sign up for other things and then blow your phone up for several months thereafter.
I can't say who exactly called me, or even which survey company in particular gave away my information (or, really, whether it wasn't actually the survey company, themselves), but they called from the same area code, so I kind of just assume they sold my number and someone is spoofing a local number when calling me.
