I just got the same msg as you did about the IRS!!! Although, I just listened to the VM for the 2nd time, cuz of course I don't answer #'s I don't know... I must admit, I got worried the first time I heard it, who wouldn't when they "get a VM" from the IRS???!!! BUT... then I thought about it...if the IRS truly wanted me, would they actually be leaving me a one time VM, and a "final warning" at that? No mail correspondence, no other phone calls WITH VOICES BEHIND THEM, nothing...so that's when I got on here and saw this! What kind of sick world do we live in? I'm glad I have the resources and knowledge to research these things, but I feel for those who don't know how to/can't. I give props to whoever made this website...it helps all of us innocent people express what happened to us, so that it hopefully won't happen to another innocent person/peoples keeled in the future, so thanks!
Messages from Alex Ferguson or Sam Bishop -- all Indian/Middle Eastern accents and never leave a message about the nature of the call, just that because of the sensitivity of the matter they are not allowed and that if I don't return their call, there will be legal action and they will call my work and home. Someone please catch these creeps. They call 4 times back to back and from different numbers each time -- then on the last call they leave the message... It is roughly the same time every day too...
I've tried everything to get these windows computer scammers not to call our number they don't give up.... we even paid to block certain numbers to no avail. Would love to sue these sob's.....
I guess this # is still active. Just got a call now. I let the answering machine take the call & I could hear tons of people in the background talking (& probably scamming other people, sadly)
