"Michael" with "Senior Assistance" wanted to know if I receive Medicare, and if my knees ever give me pain. When I said, "Aren't you supposed to be the one on his knees?" he started cursing at me, then rang off.
caller stated that they were from medicare and wanted to know if I was still on medicare. Does not make sense, if legitimate they should already know the answer to the question. I answered I don't know. they hang up.
Medicare supplement scam. The number, 708-231-1457, is a spoofed number. You can block it if you like, but it's a fake callerID being used by a scammer in order to get financial (bank) information from you in order to rob you. Do NOT answer calls from this number. Such scammers will often change the spoofed numbers that they use, so blocking the number has almost no effect. They will call you back simply using a different spoofed callerID number. The DNC and FCC are useless in stopping these thieves.
This number called my home phone it rang 2 1/2 times as they hung up in the processs of the 3rd ring, if i get a call and they don't leave a message it gets blocked. I am really tired of the lazy lower than dirt sewer scum suckers trying to steal money from soneone.
