Caller told me my number was referenced by <named relative> and asked that they call back, citing a provided case #. Did some online searching and the only thing I could find was complaints about their fraudulent debt collector practices. Blocked the number.
I don't know who these people are but they have called repeatedly for Alvin Austin and sometimes they say nothing at all. Today they made the call and I flipped on the woman who hung up on me. So I called THEM back a dozen times or so and then blocked their number.

Scam artist! They really sound ligite. But when I asked them to send papers in the mail so I have something to take to my lawyer, they say that I should have already received paperwork at my address from 6 years ago! At first, Maria Byrd calls , then she transfers you to "Jason", who gets really loud and rude with you, demanding that you work out a deal with them or they will send a deputy out to your work and you must have your employer there with you to sign papers or they will have officer to come to your home to serve you. I told them to go ahead. This was over a debt with HSBC, which I have paperwork showing that I have already took care of debt years ago. He asked if I was calling him a liar, I said yes, I am calling you a liar. He said , fine, I will continue the process of going to court and he hung up on me. This IS A SCAM!!!!
