For example, the one correct response to your notice of being represented was to take the name and contact data of your attorney and then never bother you again.
It's not "your duty" to pay anything on the word of a stranger. It's the collector's duty to send you a specific paper notice and allow that you might want to review and dispute the claim.

Said her name is Sabrena Hunter and she is calling me in regards to a debt i owe. I asked her who was company I owed but she kepted going around the question. Said if i want to take care of it with a debit card, visa or master card today, then there won't be a warrant out for my request. Again I asked her who do i owe this money to and she never told me so I finally got feed up with her and told her to talk to my Lawyer about it and she said "your lawyer has nothing to do with my case that its my duty to pay the bill" . Watch out for this number cause i'm sure it's a scam.

They called and said that they were filing court papers for a payday loan I never paid from 2012. I know that this is not true information. I told her I don't owe anything and hung up.
