They're offering a "free" monitoring system to seniors. It's called Freedom Alert or something like that. I told the caller I was on the do not call list but she went into her spiel anyway.

Call came through caller ID as Unknown Caller. Woman identified herself as being from Freedom Alert. Asked if this was a sales call. The woman responded "yes". Told her that we were on a Do Not Call List and that her company was going to be reported for making this unsolicited call to us. She immediately hung up.

Told her that we were on a Do Not Call List and that her company was going to be reported for making this unsolicited call to us. The woman was actually a slick computer generated "Smart" message, That will respond to "YES" or "NO" answers and specific phrases. If you say enough YES's then most likely you will be forwarded to a REAL person. Most likely Freedom alert is sub contracted by a local security company for the install and collects a % if you buy the system.
