Karen, you can check with Medicare itself on that.. and I would first. There's a couple of scams going on that I'm aware of, but mostly it is concerning the cards themselves.. There's other services available, but medicare shows them in the book and you can contact them directly on that. I'd be leery of someplace wanting a "fee" to do anything at this point or wanting access to my home even (have seen a couple of those as well mentioned).
I got a call earlier today according to the caller ID, but the phone never rang and the caller didn't leave a voice mail message. What good is calling and not leaving a message? It wastes everyone's time.
Received a call from Living Benefits and they actually work for the people on Medicare to insure you are utilizing all of your services. I'm homebound for the most part and Ashley was able to get me set up with some very nice services at home including a visiting nurse and doctor. I had no idea I was entitled to these extra services until I spoke with her.
