One call 2/14/17 12:52 PM CST. Caller ID says DAYLIGHT. I said hello. Guy says: This is Tom, is Mike around? I said: Tom who? He wouldn't answer, but didn't hang up either. I did.
Received a call from this number. Caller ID said Daylight. I let it go to voicemail. "Ashley" left a message saying she was from ComEd and that my account was eligible for certain discounts.
Got a call from this number and was treated to an automated message about my eligibility for benefits of class action law suit had I taken some pills that caused internal bleeding. Seemed weird that this would be the type of thing someone would cold call about, So I connected to an operator assuming this to be an Indian Scammer. But the operator sounded like an elderly black woman. But she was speaking very rushed and slurring her words together like a drunk so she was hard to understand. She asked if I had taken the pills and I said no, and she very quickly and rudely hung up out of frustration. This odd behavior furthered my suspicion of the legitimacy of the company that called. So I googled the number.
Come to find out, apparently lots of people get calls from "Daylight" But it's impossible to pin what exactly they are or what they do because they seem to be calling with a bunch of random business inquiries and seemingly some personal ones. All with no clear rhyme or reason. Definitely strange...
