They are not collecting for ComEd. They are solicitors offering third-party servicing for utility bills, but they start the call by making it sound like they're calling from ComEd to confuse people into switching their service. Sometimes it's actually cheaper, but the methods they use are unethical, IMO.
Received a call from this number. Googled it and they seem to be PEERLESS NETWORK OF ILLINOIS, LLC. Scammers from what a quick glance at the Google search brought up.
They call me non-stop and i never answer or miss the call - i tried to call it back from my land line at work and my cell - it doesn't ring or anything when i dial the number - just drops the call
