Called me about a Craigs list ad offering 50bucks more  and send me check for 1/3 to clear before  pick up.text back to call me but never did.   So.     ?

I just got a text about a craigslist and was offered $100 more then the asking price but to stop any other offers and asked for my word?  I'm not buying it since Craigslist is schetchy as is.  I am not taking any check.... cash only and come look at it if you want it.  very sckethy.

Texted about a Craigslist ad for my car in California, said his mover's agent would come pick it up. Would only text, refused to talk on the phone.

Yep, Same thing happened with us. Offered fifty dollars more to hold it. Never came thru. Only contacted by text said he could not hear well.  Crook
