Female with the name "Dave" [?] left voice mail on answering machine for some contest [imaginary?] . Said this was not a cold call and not on "do not call" list because I had entered a contest.
Caller ID: UNKNOWN NAME.
Watch out for phishing SCAM. Do not give them *any* information or engage with them. Thieves don't follow the "no call" rules... they just try to steal from people.
Tony called telling me to phone his toll free number because it would be to my benefit. It had something to do with something I did 18-24 months ago. He didn't use my name or his company's name, but caller ID gave this number and the name Communication G... Imagine all these people winning prizes from phantom contests and not knowing it. Other comments say it includes an invitation to some hotel in Jacksonville for a sales pitch.
Tony left a message about me winning 1 of 4 prizes and it would be his last atempt. He has never called me before. If he calls back I am going to file a poliece report because my number is on a do not call list. That means I do not want to be called!!!!!!!
I got the same message but Tony said "This is not a telemarketing call as I know you are on the do not call list." Who does this guy think he is? When you try calling him back the phone is either busy or it rings with no answer.
Real smooth talker (too smooth) left message saying he was Tony and I had won a car from a contest I entered 12-18 months ago (not).

He called me "winner" instead of my name (because I always put "winner" as my name in contests) and
gave a completely different number with extension to call back at.877-279-3457
Do these twits actually make a living out of calls like this? I really don't see many people falling for it.
Called and spoke to a "Dave", who left a message on my answering machine that I won something..NEVER entered anything to win anything. This has to be a major SCAM! When I told him to remove my number from his called list, he stated they do not have do not call lists and they called because I entered something. Told him I did not and he got beligerent, so I hung up on him. What an A-Hole!
