I keep getting calls from this number -- when I answer there is a hesitation like with telemarketers-- then the same male voice every time says "Oh I'm sorry -- I have the wrong number-- pardon the interruption" It really freaks me out--

Received call this am, Didn't know the number so I let it go to voice mail. Caller ID said Mitchell communications 708-856-0777. Caller said he was "Christopher from Vendel Communications" & that I was entered into a contest to win a car & won one of the top 4 prizes. I was to call 1-866-312-9552, ext. 109. I called back the 708-856-0777 # to see what would happen. Call went directly to voicemail on the first call, then I tried again & it rang 4 times, then went to voicemail. I know it is a scam.
I received a call this morning from 773-891-5629. I did not answer but the caller left a message stating she was Michelle from Vendel Communications and that I had entered a contest to win a car & I had won one of the top 4 prizes. I was to call 866-312-9553, Ext 243. I called back a while later but the call went to voice mail. My caller ID showed Prize Card Services as the caller.
I received a phone call yesterday from Vendel Communications and was told I had won a car to call 866-312-9553 to claim it. When I called it goes straght to voice mail. The person who called me said I know that you are on a do not call list but this is really true that you have won a car.
Got the same message from Rochelle/Michelle from Vendel Communications saying that I entered a contest 12-18 months ago and that I won a car (one of the top 4 prizes) - and that they are aware of the do not call list but this isn't a scam. (Yeah right). I called the number back and it went to her voicemail.
