A man called our business and asked for my husband by first name. His name is Terry which of course can be male or female. If I suspect it's a call we don't want I say SHE'S not available; if they actually know Terry they would know he's a "he" not a "she". When this guy called I said SHE isn't in, can I help you? He only said "Jack Riley, Radio America." Then he said he'd try to get back with her after the weekend. I said no, you don't need to do that and he hung up.
Well-spoken woman, who identified herself (can't recall her name) said she was calling for a radio station (can't recall the name), looking for people to donate blood. She asked for me specifically (my wife answered the phone) and identified my business name. May have been a legitimate call. Told her I was willing to participate. (I am not able to donate blood due to medication I take. I didn't explain this to her.)
