Like the time I RANDOMLY received 3 US Postal Money Orders in that mail totaling about $1,000... waltzed right to the PO and handed them over! And Y E S , they were fake!
For minimal calls like this go here: https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx to register your phone number. YES!! this works for cell phones as well as internet bases phones.
Just got same call from female Spanish-speaking person. Police say to BLOCK #...they wait for you to answer & if you stay on the phone (as another recipient mentioned) they can use your phone number to call anywhere else & charge it to your account.
Thanks, I just received the call about 5 minutes ago and by me not speaking Spanish I had no idea what the lady was saying but it was clearly a recording.
