I am having the same issue. My phone starts ringing at 8am and does not stop until evening. I have just stopped picking up the phone. From the caller ID it appears to be coming from all over the country. If someone would be on the other end so we can resolve this issue that would be great. But, since no one is on the other end it just keeps happening. BUT. I found a new set of landline phones that has a feature that allows me to stop these calls. Apparently I or we are not the only ones to have this issue. They now have phones that have a feature on them that allows you to hang up on them before they hang up on you. You can set it so your phone won't even ring. It will just not allow that number to connect. I sat for two days and hit that button to remove any 'spam' or 'junk' calls to not bother me any longer. I am still getting calls that need to be blocked from my phone but it certainly has $topped the majority of these annoying calls. Actually I answered one of these calls and got a recording of someone telling me that I could get a loan from them for up to a quarter of a million dollars! AND, NOW GET THIS...they went on to tell me that NO COLLARDERAL NEEDED, GOOD, BAD ALL CREDIT TYPES APPROVED. Now that right there was a huge red flag. Who ever is doing this wants something from me. My bank info, social number. My guess is they are leading anyone who will listen to them that they will loan you a great deal of money with no colateral, no ????. I would almost like to lead them on to see how far they will go. I did give them my address and asked them to send me their information. I highly doubt they will attempt to send anything by mail knowing that would be a federal offence if they use the US MAIL SERVICE. Now I am NOT saying this number was a number used for this issue I just explained to you. I have NO IDEA WHO OR WHAT this number is or what they want. I was just sharing my story and what I am dealing with. I have no idea what this 712-275-9041 is all about. I just know that today this number has called my phone at least twice. It is blocked along with 43•••••YES•••FOURTH THREE and counting 43, well as I was typing this responce to everyone I received two more calls, one was already blocked and I added another one to my list so now I have 44 numbers blocked. ■■☆☆44☆☆■■44 NUMBER are in my blocked caller list. Like I said I can chose to not allow my phone to even ring but I want to keep a record of all the numbers and times they call my number. So for now I will select to have my phone ring ONCE before it disconnects them. I needed a new set of phones anyway but I certainly am delighted they have added this feature to stop unwanted calls from ringing. I won't give the brand of phone that has this feature but you can find them at the big chain of electronic stores.
I just want these people to stop bothering me.

TL; DR, but some good spots. You might want to do an edit? Hang in there on the ignoring and blocking. It can take a while, months, for ignore/block to pay off. You will find that you need to be aware of your security pretty much all the time, to keep your phone number from getting out in the Wild. Stay Safe!
