I called this number back late at night, around 11pm central, by first dialing *67 to block my number. There was a recording stating if you want to be put on their "Do Not Call List" just say your number after the beep. So I did. Hopefully this will stop the unwanted calls. Let's ALL do this so they finally stop calling us.
there are times when they ask if you want to be put on their "Do not call list" your actually being put on a active phone number list to be used or sold. I never act on that. You will only get more calls
Yes, the politicians exempted themselves from "do not call", but that doesn't make them intelligent (if that ever happens, I'll assume the End has really come). Since I have indicated I don't want cold-calls, I really don't get why they think this will persuade me. Oh, well ... my phone will go back to peace and quiet after Tuesday.
