I guess the DNC list gives them the green light to call anyway. It happened right at 6:00pm ( dinner time ). No message left. If it was important, they could have left a message. Harassment!
At 8:45 P.M. a woman claiming to be from "Central Research" called and asked if my ex-wife was available (while mispronouncing the last name.) I told her I had no idea as we'd been divorced for seven years.
I have no idea what this call was about. There was no one on the other end. They can't try to scam me if they don't talk to me. I'm sure it was a ruse. (I usually don't answer calls I don't recognize, but I was expecting a call so I picked this one up without paying attention to Caller ID--which was really weird).
Lady claimed she could only ask my spouse the questions for the survey. When I told her the # she called is on the National Do Not Call list she wanted to hang up.
Yes. Survey's are exempt. So I am reporting this company to the state atty general office for calling me 5 times within 2 hours and never communicating with me. This is past ridiculous.
