I never answer because its ALL - RACHEL from Credit Card Service- at the beginning in the first few YEARS I told them I dont have a credit card, reported them to DO NOT CALL, called FCC, FTC, got hung up on....then I stopped answering the phone ANY time I don't recognize the number. Here I am YEARS later and today within 20 minutes I got the following calls from these numbers (of course I didnt answer)
THEY ARE SCAMMERS SAID THEY WOULD COMBINE MY A EXP AND DISCOVER DEBT TOGETHER DONT HAVE EITHER CARD WANTED MY SS NUMBER BEWARE!!! THEY SAID THEY ARE FROM DISCOVER ACCT SERVICES
I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.
But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:
This is a company that is from Canada. They use an app. that uses phone numbers that don't exist so they cant be traced. They are from Canada so they do not have to follow USA laws. Do Not Call is useless with these companies outside USA.
Karndog, The government doesn't care. Go buy an air horn at the boat shop and set it by your phone. Then just wait. They will call again and if you can got to a rep try to blow their eardrums out the other side of their head. It won't stop the calls but it sure is fun.
