Got several messages from them 2. They're calling from Danbury, IA...here's what I know: It's a research company asking you to do a survey about elections & voting in IA. They say it should take less than 5 mins. Hope it helps! Got 2 love answer machines. :)

Yep. me too. After 5 calls I decided to answer. It was a political survey. Like Sarah said, they said, they said it would only take 5 minutes, but I declined. Have received no more calls from them since. Usually I don't answer these calls, use your caller ID. If you do not recognize the number then don't answer it. Also, do not allow your answering machine to pick it up either. Turn it OFF ! By making a connection your are telling them that they have reached a viable, working number and they will continue to harass you. They will also sell your number to other scam artists.
Think about this: IF no one answers their calls, do you suppose they would eventually go out of business? Since I have adopted these tactics, I usually have, at the most, 2 or 3 calls per WEEK ! It has taken me some time to reach this stage, but it seems to be working.
Oh, by the way.... pressing any number to take you off their lists does NOT work. Also, our government is worthless too when it comes to the "Do Not Call" lists. Try my tactics, I think you will like them.
