Same experience here guy call says he's from experience I've had three calls from him I'll just play cat and mouse and found out what they knew they had the first four digits of my credit card number but I didn't give them any more information I even gave me his badge number at is job so I would know who he was it was It was kind of funny but very creepy
you get a call from unknown name and unknown number, they try to steal you credit card stuff-same story lower interest yada yada yada.. dial 9 for a rep.... then you dail 9 and call them a bad name and cuss them, they hang up and a few minutes later they call you back on this number and tell you that they know where you are and are coming for you to kill you.. then of course I say come on with more nasty name calling.. hahaha it is a great life...
The guy that called me from Houston, Texas stated that he could lower my interest rates on my visa and master credit cards.
He wanted my cards expiration date and said that he could look my card up with number 5466 could be lowered. I said stated " no thanks" I thought the only one that could lower my interest rates with the company that I have the card by. AN he stated " Oh no we can do that for you. I do not even have a credit card with those numbers on it. So I just hung up on the caller. An within 30 seconds they called me back 6 times.
I then tried calling the 713 area code number back and only received what sounded like a fax transaction.
