The person called me to give information regarding so many bogus complaints filled against me. The scary part is that you have to give your social security number in order to hear the information! When I didn't give any of my information, the caller said best wishes to you and hung up the phone. I believe this is a scam caller... block number please.
They are calling my private cell phone & stating they have received several complaints about step son n law, James W. Norgan. Now he did have a cell phone 5 years ago our #'s were close but no that close. I ask them what & how were they been receiving several complaints about James. No reply other than whats your number. I told her to look it up she called me. I also told her my step son n las was dead!!!! Told her to look it up. I also told her this number is on the Do Not Distrub Registery & to remove my number now. My next step would file a compaint with Federal Trade Commision. I hung put. Geez the man s dead let him rest in peace!

There are right and wrong ways to collect decedent debt, and really all consumer debts. Comments on the other thread suggest Miller leans toward "wrong".

Miller has a right to ask around for the estate executor but not to give third parties a specific reason or make up stupid lies and implied threats. It is absurdly dubious that a dead man is suddenly capable of generating "several complaints" like he's a public menace. Too bad for them if probate has closed already.

The US has no "Do Not Distrub Registery" or "Do Not Disturb Registry". We do have a Do Not Call Registry, which applies only to sales callers, a fact which was never made secret when your number was submitted.
My friend received a call today from this number. This is what he told me: the message stated that someone had a complaint about you. They didn't use his name. When he called the number back, he said it was a company called North Star. The recording said press # if you want to speak with someone. He hung up. This is nasty to call unsuspecting people and freak them out.
Robo caller stating that someone in their office had a complaint against someone who doesn't even live here! So, it was a wrong number and a SPAM caller.
