They called and left amessage for la lawsuit, I returned the call with my attorney's phone number they badgered me and harrassed me tellign me they will NOT permit me to file it in bankruptcy and that they were filing suit for defrauding a financial instistution. THEN he had the NERVE to call back and tell me I was not being represnted by any attorney.
They cannot sue you, they cannot take you to court and they cannot discuss any bills with a third party. Know the law before theynbother you
This is the same folks that were using the name Great lakes arbitration firm. This week they are calling themselves great lake advisory group.

I first got the call 2 days ago. I dont usually answer unrecognized numbers, so they left a message. The recording was something about litigation. I get another call today, didnt answer again. They left a recording telling me "this is notice of intent" to have 2 forms of ID ready tomorrow. Ok. Then I remember they called me about a month ago, looking for my friend...same messages lol
She had actually contacted an attorney who told her that its a scam.

I have received many calls from this number claiming to be "firm". First it was "Great Lakes abiration firm" in the first call, then it was "Amensley Corporation", then Cooper Corporation". I have received 4 calls from this number & got fed up with it to the poin i called the number back insisting that they do not contact my number again. Each time they have called they have asked for my Mother. This isn't the first number I've received calls from trying to scam me. I have received calls from this number at these times,

I called back today, August 27, 2014 insisting to be removed. The man who answered sounded to me like a 25-30 year old African American male. While the "representitive" leaving me voicemails sounds to be a 30-35 year old cacausan Male. The man who answered my phone call answered & said "this is mike speaking, how may i help you?" I then i said "what buisness do you work for?" He then Reply's "Cooper Corporation". I immediately knew he was up to something because the "firm" name has changed 3 times in the last 4 phone calls. I then asked him "what exactly is it that your corporation does?" He gave me this story about "we receive paperwork from attorneys that we help out & other stores. We help with any kind of case, there is a variety of cases that we recurve. we have over 100 cases each day. Your case was sent by your attorney, therefore we just need 2 forms of I.D so that we can get you out of the system". I then said "You will not get any form of information from me, if my attorney sent you a file you would have everything you need to know about me. I am not "Mandy" & i dont know a Mandy. If you did infact know what you were talking about, then you would know that my attorney works with my father who is infact a U.S Marshall Officer, & you would know that any legal buisness i have goes through him& straight to my attorney. What is the attorney's name that you received this paperwork from?" He then Reply's "yes mam, the attorney who sent us the paperwork for Mandy Baxter is Jack Russell" by the time he finished his sentence he knew i was onto him. I replied "Jack Russell? That's not my attorney. Therefore i shouldn't be receiveing these phone calls. You have asked me for my number to search so that you could take me out of your system. Yet when i said "I'm not Mandy" you automatically said "okay we will take you out of the system so that you wont be called for Mandy Baxter" i never once said her last name. So therefore, you set yourself up. You claim to be "Cooper Corporation" yet there is the same (713) 316-4987 number contacting me for a Case. I dont know how slick you think you are, but i already mentioned my father is a US.Marshall Officer & he has infact ran this number straight to your location in Houston, TX. If i receive anymore phone calls from this number you will be faceing REAL legal actions. I suggest you stop this scam before you call the wrong person one day & get yourself in some serious trouble with the law." He then hung up on me. If ANYONE is receiving calls report them immediately. They ARE A SCAM!
