This phone number keeps calling me... has been for months. When I answer, they hang up. When they get my voicemail, it's an automated voice that says "this is an important message for .... If this is not..., please hang up now. if you are..., please stay on the line" and then it hangs up. I have no idea who they are or what they want!

caller looking for my mother in law at our home, father in law said she was sleeping, caller asked if he was her husband, he said yes what is this about, caller said their number was in reference to a bounced check at walmart...I looked up the phone number 713-532-7989 and is listed as catholic charities in texas...obviously not a "debt collector"...so I say it is a scam...I had my father in law hang up the call and then I placed the phone number on our call block list through verizon.
