This is a debt collector - United Recovery - whose reps blatantly violate the law. A rep left an aggressive message on my phone for a family member stating that she was the county process server and had received certified documentation to serve relating to a complaint filed in district court, that she had "my" social security number, and gave me an "NOV" case number demanding that I call 713-559-8658 if I wanted details and that I would be served at the address she had and that I better be there with identification. I was warned that this was my only legal notice. What a complete and total crock. I really feel for those who fall prey to these scare tactics. I'm preparing docs to file with the attorney general's office about the violations. DON'T FALL FOR A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY!!
