NEVER ANSWER CALLS YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE. That only lets them sell your number at a higher price.

These scammers called a phone line which we only use for an alarm system. There is no phone connected to this phone line, just an old-fashioned caller ID box. The scammers call many times, but I don't even hear a phone ringing. And every few weeks I look at the caller ID box and just laugh and laugh...
