I have answered this call and they claim to be calling from Diversified Consultants. If you look them up, a similarly named group helps people find "Healthcare Solutions." It is just another Debt Collector. My son had a AT&T Cellphone, and his payments lapsed while he was on active duty. He tried to work it out with AT&T, because his banking account was being charged fraudulent charges, he had about $1500 taken out of his account (the reason the payments bounced) His Credit Union Froze his accounts so that they could investigate the fraud. It took them awhile before he was issued a new bank card, and no money was ever returned. In the meantime, he went to the AT&T Office, and they REFUSED to accept a cash payment from him...telling him he had to pay online with his credit card. He explained the situation, they wouldn't work with him, and they turned it over to collections. The first collection agency, Bay Area Credit Svcs, Called multiple times a day, every day. I explained that he was on Active Duty, and unreachable (at the time) I asked them to put it in writing and send it, and we would handle it that way, that I won't do business with them over the phone. They stopped calling, and rolled the debt to this new company who is doing the same thing. My son has every intention of settling the debt, but we would like it in writing, I told him the horror stories of doing business by phone, and warned him against giving out banking information that way. Guess they don't want their money that badly because none of them are willing to send it by mail.
