As far as I know, there haven't been any changes, and if the government were going to change compliance, they'd notify us a million different ways, not have some random place call.
I tried to go to their website, but it's "down for maintenance"
Other places online have them listed as a credit card terminal racket. Which won't work here, our transactions are bigger than that, so I'm guessing this is just a sneaky sales pitch hidden under a lie about Texas laws.
Anywhere else I can find the Houston Electric Money store, they're listed as "Check Cashing services" and "Loans and Mortgages"
