I also received a call from Stacy Ross claiming that she works with the State of Texas Processing and Ajudication. When I called her out for being a scam and told her that I wanted an address where I could send a cease and desist letter, she gave me the address of the Harris County Criminal Courts building. I called them and they had never heard of her and said that the number she gave me wasn't of anyone in that building. I was redirected to the consumer fraud department so that I could have them investigate the number she gave me. They said that they have been receiving a lot of check fraud scams. Do not give any information to her, do not pay any money! If they can't send you proof of debt in writing then they are scammers! They will call everyone that they can to try and extort money from you.
Fraudulent Call. It's a scam. The caller left me a voicemail. The person, Stacy Ross, indicated that there is a case file against me, and that I owe money. They are trying to intimidate you with legal technical jargon to get your personal financial information and extort money from you. Do not provide them any information about you or your bank information.
