Phone rang at 9:30 am. Angered with some anger in my voice. Guy said he wanted to order a cheeseburger and asked if I was "Frito's". It was likely a scammer who just decided to play mind games instead of stealing money.
ITs a spoof number. Can be changed on any phone. It's a scam. some scum calling and will threaten you with BS. I checked with the FBI office on these numbers that start with the # 1. Don't answer them. if you don't catch it and you answer it and they are threatening you will randsom it's [***]. Even if they say your name or kids name. They are getting this info off of Facebook. The FBI office confirmed this.
Had a friend receive a call from a number starting with 1. they said they wanted 25k immediately because they had their kid and their were screaming sounds in the background. It was [***]. They had their kid on hold on the other line to answer it. Best thing to do. Never answer any number that starts with 1 after the area code. And get the hell off of Facebook. All they do is spy on you and its not as safe as you think. The Feds said these scammers have ways to tap into your page even if you think it's blocked and that is how they know your family member names and scam on you. GET the hell off of the social media BS. Old school is the best. CALL your family member and talk to them and don't advertise your life on social media. it's getting worst.
