Just got a call from "Great Destinations in Salt Lake City." This is obviously not a Salt Lake City number. When I asked to be removed from their call list she asked me "Is something wrong?" and got very short with me. Ended up hanging up on her.
Called and said she was from Great Destinations and that for my time today I would be given either a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas or two tix to anywhere in the US. I would love either, obviously, but it sounded too good to be true, especially considering I had never signed up for that or anything. Asked her to add me to the do not call list.
Got a call from this number from a woman, possibly asian judging by the accent that I could hardly understand. She asked for "Jack" which is a name I use ONLY on KSL.com's classifieds section for buying and selling locally. Clearly this person or company is pulling names and numbers off KSL. When I asked her about that, she hung up.
