I get these calls every few months, this is what happens when you fill out an online loan application and your information is sent out into the void, it's a scam. The first clue it's a scam is that it is illegal in most states to threaten a person with jail or arrest in order to collect a debt.
They leave a message with no name no information and same message to everyone.... seriously see you in the courthouse then cause I owe no one that I am not currently paying that I am aware of so how are you attempting to collect on a debt and can threaten me with arrest??? Need a court date first not a warrant.
"You have received a legal case against you and for that reason you will be getting arrested either from your house or from your work place. If you need further information you can reach us back on 714-209-7632. See you in the court house."
I kept asking them what I my charges leading up to my arrest were and they would not tell me. The actually hung up on me twice and I called back to get an answer to what charges and they would not tell me and they must have blocked my number because I can not get through now.
