This is a new scam number and it is associated with phone number 8772099904 which is Lump Sum Financial Group.  It was Investigator Green with Lump Sum Financial Group.  Which didn't make sense either. He wouldn't answer any questions about when, where, who he was, etc.  He just kept trying to talk over me and tell me that he was within the laws, which he was not.
It is another scam trying to threaten charging you with check fraud for a payday loan.  OF course, it is from a place I have never heard of or applied for a loan.  They have your name, phone numbers and last four digits of ss#, which is always scary.  These are not foreign people either, which really says something about the integrity of some Americans.  They need to get a real job and quit trying to scam people out of money they don't owe.  I just told them to send the paper work and file the claim, when of course, I was offered a settlement option to keep from going to court.
