Called last night (7?31/14) at 7:31! I picked up/hung up after the third ring to prevent it from going to ans. machine, and, hopefully, 'confuse' the robodialer, since we've gotten similar calls in the past. Usually the calls with this MO are part of an elaborate PHISHING SCAM targeting mostly the elderly and disabled claiming to provide *FREE home alert systems* and/or *pain relieving creams* (Free except for $500 'handling' charge on your credit card!) and other SCAMS that people who are home suffering aches and pains might want or need.
This is a RUSE for IDENTITY THEFT of info such as Social Security number, Credit Card number or Bank acct number THEFT.
We haven't fallen for it; don't you be their VICTIM, either.
"Telemarketer" = SCAMMER.
