I keep getting a recording from this number that my Google listing is outdated and incorrect and that it's important that we take care of it. I just hung up, as I've had many of these calls including one that I was able to verbally talk to... here's more info on that one...

As others, I got a call from a woman, saying that our Google listing needed updating. I acted as though I was just an employee and got more information out of her. I looked at the listing and told her that everything was correct. She then stated that there was more potential and that it was free.  I told her that I would tell the owner about our call and have her call back.  She gave me the number 855-224-1894, ext 8017. When I called back today, one thing that struck me was that the introduction did not verify who it was, just a 'your call is important to us, please hold for the next avail...." When I waited on that extension, a recording came up stating that it was someone else's office and to leave a message.

Also, when I told the woman on the phone that I'd fill my boss in and have her call back, she said that I didn't need to do so, that she'd explain it all. I told her that maybe an email might be easier, so that my boss had everything in writing. She said she'd do that right away...guess what...no email.

I am still getting those recorded calls from "google'' with the message that it's important that I not hang up. I do so anyway. If you want to call me, have someone speak to me, don't greet me with a recording, you're just going to be immediately hung up on!
