This # called me saying it was a final notice from the credit bureau, informing me they r filing a lawsuit against me & I will be getting arrested, said urgent call back is necessary & they will see me in court. Lol, wth?? Crazy
I got the same message. they said the police would be here to arrest me within 45 minutes to 1 hr. saying over $900. from bills reported to them from the national credit bureau. They kept hanging up on me too. when I called back stating I wanted to know where it was coming from. Said I would receive the papers from the officers and they would see me in court!!! I called transunion and they didn't have anything on my credit report besides what should be there.
If someone else gets a call from this number call the Federal Trade Commission. The number is 1-877-382-4357. If they get enough complaints they'll go after the person doing this.
