I must be the first lucky one :) I didn't answer so they left a threatening message that claims that they have a legal case against me (but don't address me by name) and that they will show up at my physical address to have me arrested and to call 714-294-2572. They close with "they will see me at the courthouse" Unbelievable that anyone would fall for this obvious scam!
I marked this as "Telemarketer" but I think it is far worse than that.
Very stupid and they need to be found an be talked yo and they said they was going to arrest me at my local address or my job and see you in the courtroom
The disgusting Indian scammers are the ones that are going to be arrested, not the decent people of civilized societies, who do not attempt to cheat people, and gang rape women..
I was shaken up , they knew my ss# and my personal address. Did not give any money at all, don't have it to give it away. Went straight to the police and I asked if I could file identify theft. They provided me a website to go to. Called all 3 credit bureau and placed a fraud alert. Cleaned up my computer with a new virus software as a precaution as well.
Had to think how in the world they obtained my personal information . They called me 5 times after I went to the police station, have not responded.
Did not give them money , but the fact they new my personal information got me more concern .
They pray on people with no regards of the consequences. They should be arrested for extortion .
Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I recieved the same call as above. Caller was a woman that stated the same trash and that she would see me at the court house. So tired of these calls. My caller ID showed that the call was coming from Anaheim, CA.
