Received the exact message as everyone else claiming a call from IRS with legal action being taken if not called back. contact person was a Nikki Johnson.
I received a message on my phone from Nikki Johnson in which she stated she was calling from the IRS and that I should return her call at 714-410-2014. I suspected it was a scam and so I googled the return number and found several people had reported the number and the person as a fraud.
To my knowledge, I don't believe the IRS is in the business of calling people on the phone. I'm pretty sure the only chance you'd have getting a call from them would be if you've initiated contact, otherwise, they'll only be appearing in a mailbox near you. I am positive you'll hear nothing from these idiots at all if you deny mystery callers the chance to leave you messages.
