I received a call from Verango today with a man perporting to be with Southern California Edison. He continued to tell me the people on my street were unhappy with their edison bill and we could get solar for free. I knew this was a scam and he really pissed me off because he was so angry. I guess he got the hint when he put the nice cop of the good cop bad cop routine on the phone. I made an appointment with them and as soon as I saw these reviews I called and cancelled.

A man asked to speak to the home owner and I asked who he was and he said something about home financing or engegy.. I was half listening to his actual words cuz I knew it was a telemarketer. I asked to be taken off the list only to be told "There is no list mam" and he hung up on me.
I did a little research and here you go. And I called and verified this was really Verengo and I warned them that I am posting their numbers so those being tortured have retribution and a way to complain.

I have received rude phone calls from this company for two years. I am a member of the National Do Not Call Registry and have repeatedly asked Jemstar to put me on their Do Not Call list. They tell me that they do not have a Do Not Call list or they hang up on me. I suggest reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the National Do Not Call Registry. If this doesn't work, maybe we should consider a Class Action Law Suit against them.
This number keeps calling the house. So, instead of picking up, just try to remember the number or ID and hang up on them. Or, if you want to figure out who it is or the anything about them, pretend you are the person they are looking for and bs your way through??? Just a thought. These people are annoying so if you got some time, make a fool out of those losers...damn right.
