Recorded call telling me that my electricity rates are going up 12% next month! Oh my heavens! No! Seems like I got this same call last month. Most likely some flaky outfit wanting to lease solar panels and install them on my roof that will sit there and look ugly and cost me money. It did give the option of pressing "3": to let them know I was not a homeowner so that I would be removed from the list. I didn't press 3 since I don't trust them to keep their word. This one is now blocked.

Got this call telling me my electric bill was going up 12.5% said to push one to stop it. I hung up and googled the number....I am on the do not call list.
Called about 2:30pm today, left a recorded message about electric rates going up 12.4%, and if I wanted to avoid higher prices, press 1. And if I'm not the homeowner, press 3 to be removed from their list.
My guess is they are selling or leasing solar panels. But the utility in my area just changed (read: increased) the rates that they charge homes with new solar "to pay for the grid" (existing solar homes are grandfathered for now.)
Got this call and as usual no one was on the line. When I pick up I always hear a bunch of clicking sounds which is probably a signal to the scammer that they have a live one to screw with. I just set the phone down for several minutes and go about my business. I've found that blocking calls is a lost cause. These telemarketers just keep changing their spoofed phone numbers sometimes by one digit to get around blocking.
