called my cell and left a message. CALLED my sister and left a message looking for me saying that a credit card company is taking me to court and tried serving papers for a civil suit they filed. So when I tried calling back with my "case number" they told me I needed, the man said he would try to tell them not to file because I said that card was stolen many years ago an should have already been taken care of. This is the second time in 2 years that this settled credit card debt has been brought up. This has to be a scam!

This is a scam. I have never had a credit card in my life and they told me that they were going to take me to court etc. When i asked for the date that card was issued they said sometime in 1990 i told them that it was not possible as i was 14 in 1990 and have religiously checked my credit report for fraud and have not seen anything appear that shouldnt be there. They mumbled something and quickly hung up.
