A salesperson, who said his name was Jerry Adams, called me to try to sell me energy saving home improvements. I said my 87 year old mother had been taken to the emergency room with chest pain and I was expecting a call. I didn't want to tie up the line. He said I would hear a beep if I another call came in. I hung up. He called right back and continued his sales pitch. I told him he was being insensitive and asked if he had heard that I was waiting for an emergency call. He kept right on trying to sell my on the home improvements. When I asked for the address of his company, he said he didn't know it. I asked for a business license number, he said it didn't matter. I told him I would report his unethical practices to the FCC and BBB and he hung up. This would be been hilarious, except my mother really was being transported to a hospital emergency room and I was waiting for a call from paramedics.
