That's really unusual that the scamming calls would show your own area code on the caller id. Most, if not all, of the illegitimate calls use spoofed and non existent area codes. You must live in an area that is rife with scammers.

714-496-7220 received a call from this number the recording saying something about reducing my utility bill and to press certain numbers on the phone, which I did NOT. I am so sick and tired of these son of bitchin' calls from these scum bag telemarketers. They are just scams. I hope they get caught and prosecuted to the MAX!!!!
